Mim Paquin, accorging to Louise Guinther, is a brilliant soprano making her way in opera.
Mim was born and grew up in New Bedford, Massachussetts. When she was 4, her parents produced the stage show « The King and I » at the Fairhaven High school. She developed this attraction for Broadway. Then she sang with her family every Sunday in the New Bedford Saint-Josheph choir. These are only a few brief elements which brought her to have in her repertoire the following: « Manon » in Manon, « Mimi » in La Bohème, « Angelica » in Suor Angelica, « Magda » in Rondine, « Manon » in Manon Lescaut, « Sophie » in Werther, « Pamina » in Die Zauberflöte, « Nedda » in Pagliacci, « Adriana » in Adriana Lecouvreur, « countessa » in Le nozze di Figaro, « Tatyana of Eugène Onegin, « Desdemona » in Otello and many others.

Mim Paquin is presently studying opera and voice with Ms Christina Henson. She is living in New York with her husband tenor Jason Robinette. The happy couple is expecting their first child in May 2010. The AFPAQUIN.ORG website is taking this opportunity to wish them a very happy family life.
