Brother Wilfrid Paquin FIC passed away at the La Prairie infirmery on August 20, 2003. He was 83 years old of which 67 years were as a brother of the "Frères de l'Instruction Chrétienne". He was the son of Charles Paquin and Lorenza Bédard born in Montréal on August 28, 1919. He entered the La Prairie noviciate in 1935 and made his perpetual pledge in 1941.
He taught French in U.S.A. and then at the Montréal Saint-Stanislas "École Supérieure" from 1955 to 1965. He wrote for a number of years several magazine for the FIC religious community and also corrected teaching magazines.
He wrote quantities of poems and novels for young students under the name of Charles Lorenzo.
